Years of faith,
history and legacy

Started as a mission to the growing community on South Hill, Pilgrim Lutheran Church celebrated its first worship service on March 18, 1973.

The intervening years have seen plenty of changes and challenges, and also joys and blessings, as we have been the church here in this place, and in the midst of a community that has also seen its share of changes and blessings.

Today we are an active and diverse community, united in our faith in Jesus Christ, and our desire to love our neighbor. Our vision is to continue to be a caring neighbor who reaches out to others in our community with the love of Christ.

We are guided by our Purpose Statement: Grounded in Faith, Serving in Love

We worship together Sunday mornings at 9:30am, with Sunday School following at 10:30 (during the school year).

Our liturgical style of worship is led by a talented team of singers and musicians as we sing our praises to God in thanksgiving and gratitude.  Each week we are nurtured by God’s Word and in sharing the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism.  We are then sent back out into the world in Jesus’ name.  We have come together to be grounded anew in our faith, and we are sent back out to serve our community in love.

We would love to have you worship with us.
